Remodeling a home is a big decision, and it’s natural to have questions. Based on what we’ve learned from decades of experience, here are answers to the most common concerns homeowners have when choosing a remodeler.

What type of projects does Star Remodeling specialize in?

Star Remodeling focuses on fixed-price residential remodeling: kitchens, bathrooms, additions, ADUs, porches, and whole-home updates. If it involves improving an existing home—not building a subdivision—we’re usually a great fit.

Star Remodeling does not prepare detailed fixed-price proposals based on incomplete information. We begin with a 15-Minute Discovery Call, followed by a Project Assessment when appropriate. Detailed scope and pricing are developed through a more complete planning process.

Typically about 5 business days, unless the scope is complex or requires design input.

A Design & Planning Agreement may be recommended when a project requires further development before reliable pricing can be prepared. This is common for additions, ADUs, kitchens, whole-home remodeling, garage conversions, in-law suites, and projects involving structural changes, layout changes, selections, or permitting.

Absolutely. We frequently coordinate with outside designers and architects and integrate their plans into our scope.
